Despite the accuracy that they can give us, classical regression and classification algorithms are still not quite successful in some specific artificial intelligence problems (such as vision, speech and natural languages). Neural networks can help us significantly in addressing those problems. Our Neural Networks in Artificial Intelligence course explores the structures and architectures of different neural networks, including artificial neural networks, convolutional neural network and recurrent neural networks. Study practical examples of where neural networks are used (fraud detection, equipment failure detection, prediction of sale values of various investments, image classification), and learn to evaluate and resolve your own industry-related problems through neural networks.

I took the IA course as a continuing education course; it could have been so much better. We had to submit group work, group work is rarely very rewarding or "fun." The course was not very well structured. We submitted homework every week for the durat...
I would not recommend taking COMP9673 (Information Architecture) with Aaron Bernardo. He is disorganized and inarticulate, and he does not provide feedback to students or return assignments to them. If you take a course with him, you will have no idea ...
