George Brown’s Introduction to Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing course helps students build a strong foundation in deep learning and natural language processing (NLP), learning how to tackle complex language processing tasks and excel in the dynamic fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and NLP. Students learn about deep neural networks (including recurrent neural networks, long short-term memory networks, and transformers) while gaining hands-on experience in implementing and training these models. Students explore such NLP-specific topics as tokenization, feature engineering, and advanced NLP models, and work on such real-world applications as chatbot development using ChatGPT API and prompt engineering.
