Accessibility is an essential component of effective communication design and advertising. Humber College’s Accessibility for Content Creators courses cover fundamental topics, including accessible typography, colour contrast, layout and structure, alternative text for images, accessible PDF creation, graphics for social media and inclusive design for both web and print materials. Students will also explore the importance of inclusive language and learn techniques to enable learners to reach a wider audience. Students receive guidance on planning and implementing accessibility features throughout their design process.
Note: Students pursuing a Certificate of Completion in Accessibility for Content Creators must successfully complete both courses (8 hours total) within a two-semester period.

I recently took the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Digital Marketers and Communications program at Humber Polytechnic and found it really practical and easy to follow. It breaks down AI concepts in a way that actually makes sense for marketers, without getting overly technical.
I liked that we focused on real-world tools and use cases — from content creation to analytics — and how to apply AI strategically rather than just chasing trends. It’s a great starting point for anyone in marketing or communications who wants to understand how AI can fit into their day-to-day work.
