Designed for planners, schedulers, operations, maintenance coordinators and other maintenance personnel, PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada’s Maintenance Work Management Certificate ensures that maintenance management professionals have the skills to make sure the right maintenance work is completed on the correct assets, at the right time, using the right resources and tools.
For those in, or aspiring to be in a maintenance planning and scheduling, operations or maintenance coordinator role, participation in PEMAC 201 – An Integrated Strategy for Maintenance Management (Module 1, 15 hours) and PEMAC 206 – Maintenance Work Management of the Maintenance Management (Module 6, 30 hours) Professional (MMP) program will provide practitioners with a high level of understanding and knowledge that will allow them to perform their role more effectively while contributing to the overall success of the department and organization.
Upon completion of the two courses, participants will have a better understanding of the benefits of an integrated maintenance management strategy, as well as the fundamental principles of work management processes in addition to the basics of planning, scheduling and work coordination methods.
These courses are designed and maintained by PEMAC, and delivered by Humber Polytechnic. Participants who successfully complete MMP Module 1 and MMP Module 6 are eligible to apply to PEMAC for the newly released Maintenance Work Management Certificate.
Maintenance personnel who wish to continue their learning journey, and gain in-depth knowledge and skills that will drive further improvements, can work towards their Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification by completing the remaining courses in the MMP program.

I recently took the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Digital Marketers and Communications program at Humber Polytechnic and found it really practical and easy to follow. It breaks down AI concepts in a way that actually makes sense for marketers, without getting overly technical.
I liked that we focused on real-world tools and use cases — from content creation to analytics — and how to apply AI strategically rather than just chasing trends. It’s a great starting point for anyone in marketing or communications who wants to understand how AI can fit into their day-to-day work.
