IBM Data Science Professional Certificate

The Data Analytics program prepares individuals for a career in the rapidly growing field of data analytics. Over the course of up to 4 months, students will learn essential skills like Python, Excel, and SQL, making them job-ready for entry-level data analyst roles.

This program covers key data analysis techniques, including collecting, storing, modeling, and analyzing data to inform decision-making. Students will gain foundational skills in tools such as Excel, Python, Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter Notebooks, and Cognos Analytics, and work with real-world data to develop practical experience in data manipulation and analysis. The program also offers the opportunity to explore how generative AI tools are integrated into data analysis.

Participants will build a portfolio of projects, earn an IBM Professional Certificate, and receive an IBM Digital badge. The program is ACE® and FIBAA recommended, with the potential to earn up to 12 college credits and 6 ECTS credits.

The curriculum includes hands-on projects like creating dashboards, analyzing financial data, and predicting housing prices, culminating in a capstone project to showcase the skills learned throughout the program. Additionally, career resources are provided to support job placement efforts.
