Fully Qualified Nail Technician

Become a fully qualified Professional Nail Technician. In this 400 hour course, students will learn the techniques on how to apply both Gel and Acrylic nails. Students will become confident in applying regular and French sculpted nails, as well as Colour Gel and Colour Acrylic. Students will also learn to do Gel and Acrylic refills, repairs, re-growth, as well as proper use of the electric file, and nail art.

Students will learn the proper techniques from the videos, then perform the procedures on the Nail Trainer Hand. Once learners have completed their sets, they will send their assignments to the Mirage Spa Education Inc. head office for grading. A video will be made and sent with an evaluation, on what areas need improvement and what areas the student has excelled in.

Natural nail services (manicures and pedicures) are performed on live models. Students will not receive a kit, but will be provided with a list upon enrolment for required supplies.

To graduate from this course, students will be required to complete a pre-determined number of assignments, a number of multiple choice exams, as well as a final exam. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will receive a Fully Qualified Nail Technician Diploma, a Natural Nail Tech Diploma, a Cuccio Naturale’ Certificate, and official transcripts.
