Ontario Tech University’s Master of Education program is a leader in online learning. Students dive into cutting-edge technology and unite with a vibrant, global community of passionate learners to help shape the future of education. The Master of Education (MEd) is unique and at the leading edge in both its objectives and approaches to learning online. The program addresses the most recent issues involving digital technology, leadership, curriculum and adult education. Collaborative learning, co-construction of knowledge, peer tutoring and personalization are key approaches used in this program by professors with diverse research backgrounds in educational technology.
This 16 month program will address issues around technology, leadership, curriculum development, and adult education in a collaborative way that encourages students to use all resources available to them.
This program is exclusively online for domestic students. International students who enroll will learn exclusively in person at OTU’s Oshawa campus. This program can be taken on either as a full-time or part-time course load.
Admission Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Bachelor of Education degree from a Canadian university, or equivalent.
- Minimum overall standing of a B, or equivalent.
