Coaching for High Performance is a two-day workshop, with 3 months of support, that equips managers with the skills, tools, and mindset of world-class coaches. Coaching is a way of thinking and interacting with people that communicates high expectations, respect and caring.

Combining first-hand examples from both the sport and corporate worlds with an innovative coaching framework, Coaching for High Performance provides a clear picture of what good coaches do and shares their tools and techniques.

What You’ll Learn

  • Communicate high expectations, respect and caring for your employees
  • Learn the concepts and skills of a coaching style of management
  • Build commitment and get results
  • Integrate new concepts into an existing repertoire of leadership skills
  • Develop your organization’s “next generation”

Coaching Companion

This program included a Coaching Companion and three months of online support delivered via email, reinforcing the tools learned in the workshop. Participants are given specific ‘homework’ in applying each of the core skill sets of the Coaching For High Performance model, guided in reflecting on their application, and provided with additional resources for deepening their development.

The program gave me an edge in my day-to-day business dealings and ultimately boosted my confidence to take my family business to the next level. I loved the videoconference technology. It felt as if you were right there in the front row of the class, and the professor– student interaction was wonderful. This program is not for the faint of heart, but I couldn’t imagine where I would be today without it.

The integration and utility of the business skills I learned in Queen’s Executive MBA have been tremendous in my new role. I have used what I learned in courses such as Global Business Strategy, Financial Management, Negotiations & Conflict Management, and Creating High-Performance Teams on an almost daily basis. The program definitely exceeded my expectations.
