After working as in-house counsel for a decade, I decided I wanted to go into private practice. I enjoyed law but fatigue was setting in and I wasn't learning the way I used to. And the name recognition of Kellogg, a prestigious US brand, doesn't hurt. I didn't appreciate this when I enrolled, but the joint US-Canadian credential opened new doors for me in the States, where I now work as an executive for an e-commerce company.
