Cloud Security

The Cloud Security graduate certificate program prepares students to address the growing demand for professionals who can protect and manage cloud-based systems. In just eight months, learners gain specialized knowledge in cloud security principles, architecture, and best practices. As the first credential of its kind offered by Ontario public colleges, this program blends theoretical understanding with hands-on experience, enabling graduates to design, deploy, and secure cloud infrastructures in real-world environments.

Through a comprehensive curriculum, students develop expertise in Linux operating systems, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps methodologies. They learn to automate security processes, create fault-tolerant cloud solutions, and apply preventive and detective security controls. Graduates are equipped to evaluate organizational risk, ensure compliance, and implement robust identity and access management strategies — preparing them to stand out in a rapidly expanding field where cloud security expertise is in high demand.

Admission Requirements

• Postsecondary diploma, advanced diploma or degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent fields.
