As a Business Management (BComm (Hons)) student,  learners acquire an intensive grounding in the fundamentals of business before choosing one of seven innovative majors at the end of the first year. T ed Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University’s active, collaborative approach puts students in the boardroom, problem-solving, presenting and tackling real-world business cases from the very beginning of their university career.

During the first year at the School of Business Management, students acquire the foundational business knowledge that prepares them to specialize in a major. The curriculum provides a general overview of business in society, introduction to all of the basic business functions, and develops awareness of social, human, and economic issues through the introduction of liberal studies. Students will choose 1 of 7 majors at the end of first year including Economics and Management Science, Law and Business, Global Management Studies, Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Marketing Management, and Real Estate Management.

Their in-person curriculum is administered reasonably well.
The online courses are not great due to limited opportunity for feedback, correction, etc. They also don't feel terribly well structured.
