The Personal Support Worker (PSW) program at triOS College prepares students to provide compassionate care and essential support to individuals in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home settings. Students learn to assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and managing ongoing medical conditions, while gaining knowledge in cognitive and mental health issues, brain injuries, and medication administration. The program emphasizes both administrative and clinical skills, ensuring graduates are well-equipped to deliver safe, high-quality care.

In addition to in-class learning, students complete a 12-week clinical placement that provides hands-on experience and real-world application of their skills. The program includes industry-recognized certifications such as CPR/First Aid, Gentle Persuasive Approach, and Intramuscular/Subcutaneous Insulin Administration. With access to modern classrooms simulating healthcare environments and campus support across multiple locations—including Toronto, London, Mississauga, Brampton, Kitchener, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Windsor—graduates leave ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
