The University of Toronto’s Master of Education Field in Online Teaching and Learning program is designed for those educators who require flexibility as they take the next steps in their careers. Learners who want to make an impact in their students’ lives from a distance will get the training needed to do so as more and more programs shift to a virtual setting, aiding in accessibility and opening new experiences through technology.

After graduating, students will have a solid theoretical grounding in online teaching research, a course-based focus on the design and delivery of online instructions, and the chance to develop their skills further with a variety of technologies. Whether students need full-time or part-time course loads, they can find an opportunity to learn online and in person.

Admission Requirements

  • Four year bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a mid-B average or better in the final year.
  • English language proficiency if required.
