Wheels AZ’s DZ License Training Program is designed for individuals in Brampton, Mississauga, and Toronto who aspire to transform their passion for the road into a rewarding professional career. As truck driving continues to be a high-demand occupation offering competitive wages, travel opportunities, and long-term stability, Wheels AZ provides a structured pathway into the industry through expert-led instruction and hands-on experience. In accordance with guidelines set by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, the DZ License permits drivers to operate vehicles exceeding 11,000 kilograms (24,000 lb) gross weight, including combinations with towed vehicles up to 4,600 kilograms (10,000 lb). The program equips students with the essential knowledge and confidence required to operate heavy vehicles safely, responsibly, and professionally.
As a recognized truck driving training school in Canada, Wheels AZ emphasizes curriculum-based instruction aligned with M.E.L.T. standards, blending comprehensive classroom theory with practical, ground-level implementation. Serving Mississauga and surrounding communities, including Brampton and Toronto, the school delivers a well-rounded commercial driver training program that prepares students thoroughly for the M.T.O. road test. Trainees gain in-depth expertise in pre-trip and post-trip inspections, coupling and decoupling, 90° backing maneuvers, highway driving, load security, hazard management, space management, daily log maintenance, anti-lock braking systems, and advanced driving techniques such as shifting, turning, and controlled braking. Through this balanced approach of theoretical foundation and practical mastery, Wheels AZ ensures graduates are fully prepared to pass their examinations and begin their careers with confidence and competence.
