In the BCIT Graduate Certificate in Business Administration students will gain practical business skills at a master’s level that can be applied across multiple industries. Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies to complete a master’s degree or to enter the workforce in a managerial role.
The program incorporates a blend of assessments, including case studies, problem-based learning, collaborative group work, self-reflections, and individual projects. Students are exposed to real-world business issues throughout their coursework, culminating in a capstone project where students will be given the opportunity to work on solving real problems facing industry.
Students will complete six graduate level courses taught over nine months (September to May) in a blended course delivery (Evenings at the Vancouver campus combined with online learning).
Learners will work through this full-time program with their cohort, sharing experience and expertise, and building a professional network that will last long after graduation. The program will finish with a Business capstone project where students assume the role of a business professional and develop a report and presentation, addressing solutions to real-world industry challenges.
