Bachelor of Social Work

Booth University College’s Bachelor of Social Work program prepares students to become skilled, ethical, and practice-ready professionals dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities. With a strong focus on clinical practice and current professional realities, the program blends theory with experiential learning to build a solid foundation in social work values, critical thinking, and professional identity. Students are encouraged to explore diverse areas of practice while developing a clear sense of purpose within the field.

Learning takes place in a supportive environment with small class sizes, experienced faculty, and assignments that reflect real-world expectations. The program includes at least 700 hours of supervised practicum experience, often leading to employment opportunities after graduation. With strong field support and personalized placement guidance, students gain meaningful hands-on experience across various settings. Admission Requirements

• Human service work experience / volunteer experience.
• Evidence of suitability for the social work profession.
• Evidence of emotional maturity and stability.
