The Commercial Pilot Licence at JoinAir is a full Transport Canada approved course. The course consists of sixty-five hours of flight training designed to get pilots ready for the real world of working as a Commercial Airplane Pilot. Applicants will learn a variety of flight exercises and really hone their skills.
The scheduling and length of training is based on availability and subject to change.
Admission Requirements
- Must be graduated from high school or be at least nineteen years of age.
- Must hold a current Private Pilot Licence – Airplane or Helicopter.
- Category 1 Canadian Aviation Medical Exam
- English Proficiency Test if required.
Program Requirements
- Two hundred hours total (can include previous flight hours from the private licence).
- One hundred hours PIC (pilot in command) with twenty hours cross country PIC.
- Dual thirty-five hours.
- Solo thirty hours.
- A minimum of eighty hours of ground school.
- Sixty percent or higher on the Transport Canada (CPAER) written exam.
- Pass the Commercial flight test.
