Private Pilot’s Licence

The Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) is an excellent foundation and starting point for all pilot education and is the first step in a flying career. A PPL allows a pilot to fly when they want to fly.

Graduates of the PPL program will have completed a minimum of forty hours of ground school and forty-five hours of flight time. Students will need to successfully pass the written Transport Canada exam and flight test to obtain their PPL.
