The diploma in Supply Chain and Operations will prepare students with necessary skills to succeed in an organization that require multidisciplinary supply chain and operations roles. Graduates will have exposure to many facets within a typical supply chain such as customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
During the two years of study in this diploma program, students will learn to analyze business processes to improve productivity, develop a master production schedule, by using materials requirements planning (MRP), balance supply and demand, construct a detailed project management plan, and develop and implement quality management programs.
The experienced faculty members will employ hands-on projects and assignments that simulate those undertaken in actual business settings to teach the various business practices. Students will be introduced to SAP, an enterprise resource planning software that is recognized as being a world leader in supply chain application software. Students will have the opportunity to gain experiential learning through external classroom exposure in the forum of field trips to local companies and college sponsored Faculty-Led International Programs (FLIP).
The Supply Chain and Operations program has professional associations with the Canadian Association for Production and Inventory Control, SAP University Alliance, and Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council.
Additional ancillary fees for career services, health and counselling, athletics, student ID cards, and more may apply.
