Office Professional

The Office Professional certificate at SAIT is a one-year program designed to prepare students for dynamic roles in office settings. Throughout two semesters, students complete 30 credits across 10 courses, focusing on effective communication, office procedures, and the use of technology to manage business information.

The curriculum includes courses such as Applied Mathematics for Business, Business Software Foundations, Communication and Presentation Skills, and Office Administration. Small class sizes enhance learning, and graduates may pursue careers as administrative assistants, office coordinators, or executive assistants.

Admission Requirements

• English language proficiency and a minimum 50% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2.
• Minimum 50% in Math 10C or Math 20-3.
• Equivalent high school courses may be accepted for applicants educated outside Alberta.
