Conestoga’s Public Relations diploma prepares students for careers in communications by combining creative storytelling, strategic messaging, social media, media outreach, and digital engagement. Designed as a hands-on two-year program, it helps students learn how to build meaningful relationships between organizations and their audiences while developing practical skills in public relations and communications.
Students gain experience working with real clients and creating professional portfolio pieces while exploring areas such as press release writing, brand reputation, social media, and corporate communications. A five-week field placement and opportunities to learn from industry professionals provide additional practical experience, helping graduates build the skills and confidence needed to pursue careers in public relations, social media, and corporate communications.
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status.
