Public Relations and Strategic Communications Program

George Brown Polytechnic’s Public Relations and Strategic Communications Program develops the practical skills needed to plan, research, organize, and execute effective internal and external communication initiatives. Learners explore a range of communication formats, including press releases, social media content, internal memos, briefing notes, presentations, and executive communications, while developing strategies for corporate, advocacy, and government relations.

Delivered entirely online through teacher-led, synchronous courses, the program provides opportunities to learn collaboratively and exchange ideas with other professionals. Learners build knowledge in corporate communications, strategic communications, social media marketing, advocacy and government relations, strategic partnerships, and corporate social responsibility, preparing them for roles or expanded responsibilities in public relations, marketing, corporate communications, human resources, non-profit management, and advocacy.
