This 10-course diploma program provides you with the knowledge and experience to start your career in occupational health and safety management. Acquire the understanding of legislation, workplace hazards and occupational illnesses you need to manage the occupational health and safety function in the workplace. Understand how organizations are structured to better understand the role of occupational health and safety within those frameworks.
Occupational Health and Safety Management can be taken either full-time (one year) or part-time (two years). The program combines eight months of learning online from September to April and four months in a practicum placement from May to August.
The practicum provides hands-on experience, a strong network of industry contacts, and an edge in the job search process. It is the culmination of your work in the classroom and the bridge to a great career in your target industry.
