The UI for UX Designers course is for those who would like to gain the skills to create beautiful, responsive UI designs and takes learners through designing a user interface for a responsive app from scratch.
The course is suitable for those who already know their way around UX design. For those who have been employed as a UX designer, either in-house or as a freelancer, and who know the difference between a wireframe and a prototype, or who have enrolled in CareerFoundry’s UX Design Program and completed the UX Immersion Course (or an equivalent external course). UI design experience is not required, but familiarity with design software (Sketch, Photoshop, etc.) would be a plus—though students will have access to many resources and tutorials throughout the course. Students in the course will explore everything in the world of UI design, from visual design trends and best practices to image theory, iconography, and interaction design.
Students will take a detailed look at the hand-off process to ensure they meet the needs of the rest of their future collaborators. By the end of the course, students will have a set of pixel-perfect mockups ready to hand off to developers and add to their portfolios.
Requirements: Experience with UX or UI design (wireframes, prototypes, and UX/UI principles).
Note that this course is not eligible for CareerFoundry’s Job Guarantee.
