It was a fabulous four years. Emily Carr presented me with many great learnings and opportunities. I met and befriended many amazingly talent people both students and staff. It is as much a creative community as it is an institution. Based on my experience I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in Art and Design.

Having just recently graduated from Emily Carr's Communication Design department I have to say that the experience I had while attending the school was above and beyond anything I had expected. Four or Five years ago while looking for post secondary design programs Emily Carr really stood out to me as a school that taught more than just the technical skills needed to move forward as a creative. Emily Carr teaches and allows you to strengthen your thinking processes behind creating. Coming out of the BDES program I truly feel confident in my abilities to think as a designer and bring new ideas to help solidify my work. I feel like I gain so much more from Emily Carr than just a post secondary education and degree, but rather a really life changing experience that came with a lot of learning and new and amazing people.
