The Applied DevOps Certificate Program is created to help new graduates, IT professionals and career switchers break into the DevOps space. You will gain fundamental DevOps knowledge and learn essential skills in the classroom. To solidify the theory you will practice what you learn in group projects and complete an end-to-end DevOps pipeline that requires the use of industry best practices and tools including Terraform and Kubernetes.

The learning package includes 6 months of intense training and 6 additional months of job support after graduation. This program is very intensive and requires both time commitment and focus.

At WeCloudData, instructors and TAs try their best to help students succeed. Before the bootcamp, they provided pre-bootcamp materials to help students get familiar with SQL and python. I felt my SQL skill improved greatly even before starting the BootCamp. During the bootcamp, they also provided several TA hours so that students could ask questions after the lectures. After the bootcamp, they would still share a lot of helpful information and events with students/alumni. Also, the client projects and mentorship program played an important role to help me land a new job. Overall, I had a great experience with WecloudData as they showed great flexibility and offered additional support to me as needed, so I would highly recommend their bootcamp program.

Overall a great program especially for career switchers. I completed the full-time data science bootcamp program online. WCD consolidated a lot of important instruction material in one place to build up technical and presentation skills for aspiring DA/DS professionals. Learning curve is steeper for those who come from non-technical backgrounds so the pre-bootcamp material is essential to review prior to the actual start of the bootcamp program.

Pros
- Knowledgeable and patient instructors and TAs
- Relevant material taught throughout course
- Hands-on approach to instruction helped expedite learning of material
- Comprehensive advice for resume-building, job search tips, etc.

Cons
- Learning experience felt more individual rather than collaborative, which may largely be due to the fact that this program was online.
- Some challenges coordinating meeting times with career mentor and getting responses to follow-up questions

    Yes we do! You will be given a WeCloudData Certificate of Achievement upon completion of our course.

  • I'm completely new to the field with no programming background, am I still able to enrol?

    We do provide laptops to our full-time students to use within the classrooms, however, we encourage you to bring in your own laptop so that you can learn on a machine that you are comfortable with and can take home to continue working on.

  • Do you provide career support after graduation?

    We provide all of our students with post-course mentoring by reviewing your resume, helping you develop your interview skills, sharing current job market trends, and providing you with the advice given to us from hiring managers within the field.
