Computer Systems Technician

The program prepares students for careers in computer, technology, and network management across various business environments. Students will learn how to develop, operate, maintain, and coordinate the use of local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), mainframe networks, and related computer hardware and software. They will also gain skills in installing, configuring, and servicing microcomputer operating systems and network application software, with an introduction to Linux and Cloud computing.

The curriculum also covers web design, including the installation, management, and maintenance of web servers and sites to ensure optimal performance. Students will explore machine connectivity, virtualization architecture, and computer network design, learning to implement cross-platform networks. Additionally, the program provides an understanding of the technical support and helpdesk skills needed to offer effective user support.

Admission requirements

• OSSD/OSSGD.
• Experience with computers and software.
