The Practice of Mortgage Brokerage

The Practice of Mortgage Brokerage is the second and final mortgage broker course required to become fully licensed as a mortgage broker in Alberta. This course builds on the core competencies students just learned in the Fundamentals of Mortgage Brokerage curriculum and guides learners through all the technical steps involved in a mortgage transaction.

By the end of this course, participants will feel fully prepared to sit for the second and final Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) pre-licensing exam and launch their new career. Graduates have six months to complete this course, including the final exam. Following successful completion of this course, participants have three months to complete the RECA pre-licensing exam.

• Successful completion of Fundamentals of Mortgage Brokerage course.
