I worked as a Customer Support Representative for a tech company in Ukraine prior
to coming to Canada. I learned a lot of things in SalesCamp! Definitely how to feel more comfortable outside of my comfort zone, how to connect with employers. I was very curious to learn more about the rejection handling approach in sales.
I think what surprised me in the best possible way, is the fact how everyone was
supportive! Our instructor Matt, Megan and all of my group mates have been very
encouraging and supportive from day 1! I was also surprised with the number of
potential employers that we had a chance to meet through networking sessions.
To anyone considering joining SalesCamp, just give it a try! Make that first step
outside of your comfort zone and within a few days you will be so proud of yourself for doing that!

I learned during SalesCamp that if you're looking for a type of career that helps people, Tech sales is the career for you! I learned during SalesCamp that you don't sell for the sake of selling for your company but you work for a company that tries to help businesses improve their performance! When I started SalesCamp I thought you would be cold calling all day and sending emails to companies but you don't! What I've learned is that you help prospects identify the problems they have with their business and see if your company can help them! You're practically being a hero being assigned to help others in need!
What I least expected from SalesCamp is how the program is very engaging and
encourages the cohort to get out of their comfort zone and be more active!
The experience I had at SalesCamp was fantastic. Matt, the head and instructor of the cohort, was amazing at teaching my cohort about the tech sales world! Megan, the Participant Success lead, kept everyone in check who was in the program to see how they're doing!
To anyone considering joining SalesCamp, I would say to give it a shot and learn from it! There's nothing to lose in this Sales camp but you do gain more knowledge in the Tech sales industry and perhaps a new interest in a career!
