Professional photographers use photo and video to bring a client’s story to life, and this two-year diploma program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in this dynamic field. Throughout the program, students will develop their own creative vision while acquiring artistic, technical, and entrepreneurial skills. Hands-on instruction with professional equipment and technology allows students to participate in photo shoots both in the studio and on location, collaborating with clients and classmates.

Students will build essential skills in composition, lighting, audio, and editing while shooting photo and video across a variety of subject areas. They will learn how to format images to meet client specifications and will develop vital communication and problem-solving skills. The program emphasizes cultivating professional and sustainable relationships with clients, helping students build their professional networks.

Exploring various aspects of the photography industry, students will engage with areas such as commercial and advertising photography—including portraiture, food, product, and architecture—as well as corporate communications, social media content creation, and lifestyle photography like family portraits, weddings, and personal branding. Whether students plan to launch their own business or work within the industry, they will graduate with a professional portfolio and the skills needed to turn their passion for photography and video into a successful career.
