The Master of Nursing program is a 33-credit degree open to nurses with an undergraduate nursing degree. This program will prepare you to assume a leadership position in the health system. As well, you will learn to discern emerging trends, anticipate future health care directions, and provide leadership in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing practice, drawing on philosophical considerations, nursing theory, research methods and various tools of analysis.

The Master of Nursing: Generalist stream prepares nurses to meet the competencies listed above. Students in the generalist stream may elect to complete a teaching focus. Choosing a focus is optional.

Program was well designed with a Degreeworx page that tracks progress to completion including course requirements. Staff were very helpful and professors responsive. Perfect for anyone who has the capacity to learn independently and prefers that to a classroom setting or for busy people with jobs and kids. Course material was also mostly very interesting and applicable to my career in business.

I have been working on my degree on line for nearly four years. They are very supportive of adult learners and even people with learning disabilities and ADHD can get extra help and even extra time to write exams. Your exams can be written at home with an online invigilator. It easy to get student aid through them and their courses are all accredited with the professors always available to help as well.
