The Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) program at NAIT equips individuals with essential skills to become safety technicians. The program begins with foundational knowledge in safety, hazard identification, assessment, and control. Participants will learn to identify key components of a Safety Management System, understand the legal responsibilities of Canadian employers, and effectively assess and manage workplace hazards.

As students advance, they will gain expertise in areas such as inspections, investigations, fire safety, OHS management, safety audits, risk management, OHS law, safety ethics, health and wellness, and ergonomics.

Offering flexible online delivery, the program allows students to complete their training at their own pace while receiving support from experienced industry professionals and practicing Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (CRSP).

The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) recognizes the NAIT CRST program as meeting the formal education requirements for individuals pursuing certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST).

Buildings of useless people, material lackluster and diluted to spread it out longer (costing more). this laying amongst a large list of failings i have found during my own personal experience with these people. Highly advise exhausting all other options before conceding to this Joke of a learning institution.

Nait offers little to no support with over the phone nor in person. You get accepted, pay, then follow on-line program. If there are parking pass issues - no help. If there are student accommodation issues - no help. If there are registration issues - no help. They pretty much take your money, then ignore you.
