Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Management Bachelor of Management program provides students with a strong, interdisciplinary foundation in the first two years through core courses in management, accounting, marketing, economics, organizational behaviour, ethics and social responsibility, government structure, and data analysis. This early curriculum builds essential skills in leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving while introducing students to how organizations operate across sectors. Designed to be flexible and accessible, the program encourages students to explore a wide range of interests while grounding their learning in key management concepts such as innovation, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.

The Dalhousie MBA was super helpful in leveling up my business skills. The program gave me solid knowledge on things like finance, marketing, and strategy, but it also kept things pretty practical. I was able to immediately apply what I was learning to my own company, which was a huge plus. The flexibility of the program worked well for me too — I didn’t have to hit pause on my business while studying. Plus, the connections I made through the program have been awesome for networking and getting advice. Overall, it’s a great mix of academic learning and hands-on application.
