McMaster’s Engineering 1 builds the foundation for a strong education in math, science, and engineering at one of the best programs in Canada. Students take courses in calculus, algebra, physics, and design that will turn them into a Swiss Army knife of a student, before choosing an engineering specialization in their second year.
The Integrated Cornerstone Design Project in Engineering course will take all the knowledge gained and apply it into a foundational topic. Students will need to use their skills in design, communication, and more to build in a simulated workplace environment.
At the end of their first year, students will make a decision on where they want to move forward. Options for specialization include Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering, among others.
Admission Requirements
