The Office Administration – Health Services program at Mohawk College is a two-year diploma that prepares students for administrative roles in healthcare. The program covers medical office procedures, medical terminology, patient records, and health information systems, alongside essential business communication and office technology skills.

Students gain hands-on experience through a field placement, applying their knowledge in real healthcare settings. Graduates are equipped to work in medical offices, clinics, and hospitals, managing schedules, processing medical documents, and supporting healthcare professionals

Admission Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading comprehension, spelling, and basic computer and keyboarding skills recommended.
• Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English.
