Audio Engineering and Music Production

Okanagan College’s Audio Engineering and Music Production Certificate prepares students for a range of technical and creative roles in the music and entertainment industry. The comprehensive 766-hour program combines music theory, industry-standard practices, and hands-on training in digital and analog recording, giving learners the skills needed to work with professional audio equipment and production techniques.

Students gain practical experience using a state-of-the-art recording studio and equipment while developing skills through theory, applied training, industry-standard assessments, and practical projects. The program prepares graduates for technical roles across recording arts, music production, live performance, audio and visual production, broadcasting, video, and film.
