Music Industry and Technology

The University of Toronto’s Music Industry and Technology program combines music, business, technology, and digital media to prepare students for careers across the evolving music industry. Students begin their studies at U of T Scarborough before completing three consecutive sessions at Centennial College, where they develop practical, industry-focused skills and complete a required internship in the winter of Year 3.

Students can choose between certificate options in Audio Engineering or Music Business, with the latter covering areas such as management, marketing, publishing, and licensing. The four-year program leads to an Honours Bachelor of Arts and an Ontario College certificate while providing opportunities to develop musicianship through ensembles, concert choir, concert band, string orchestra, and small ensembles.

Admission Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
