The Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate program at Okanagan College prepares students for a legal career by focusing on conveyancing procedures and corporate law. Students gain essential skills through courses on legal office procedures, conveyancing, and corporate law support, providing a solid foundation for assisting legal professionals with real estate transactions and corporate legal matters. The program includes practical experience through litigation law office practicums.
Admission Requirements
- B.C. Secondary school graduation, or equivalent, or 19+ years old and out of secondary school for at least one year.
- Minimum score of 50% in English 11 or equivalent; or 70% on Okanagan College Office Administration English entrance test.
- Recommended keyboarding speed of 35 net words per minute.
