Ideal for those interested in prevention, promotion, and intervention, the curriculum is built on an equity-informed framework and includes multiple perspectives on wellness. Students learn to design and deliver evidence-informed programs that promote individual and community well-being. Hands-on learning is central to the program, with practical training through simulations, case studies, field placements, and a paid co-op term. Graduates will develop strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills to drive meaningful impact.
Graduates will be ready to work in mental health support, community outreach, systems navigation, and program development within sectors like education, social services, corporate, and government services.
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum of six grade 12 U or M level courses with a cumulative average of 65 per cent.
- Grade 12 English with a minimum grade of 70 per cent.
