Commercial Flight Operations

Prepare for an exciting career as a professional pilot. The current unprecedented demand and projected growth in the aviation industry offers numerous opportunities to excel post-graduation. Conestoga’s two-year Commercial Flight Operations program allows students to enter the industry quickly with the necessary skills to be successful. The modern flight simulators will provide learners with an opportunity for practical training through advanced avionics and realistic emergency scenarios in a variety of weather conditions.

Students will have the option to concurrently complete flight training which qualifies them to apply for Canadian Commercial Pilot License endorsed with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating. Students with a Private Pilot License can apply for credit transfers for the related ground school courses. For those who choose to work as a pilot post-graduation, they will need to complete flight training at an accredited Flight Training Unit who will grant the Transport Canada licenses upon completion and required examination.
