Office Administration – Health Services

The Office Administration – Health Services program, a two-year diploma at Fanshawe College, prepares students for administrative roles in healthcare settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and medical offices. The program is also available part-time for students that would like more flexibility. Students develop skills in medical terminology, office procedures, and electronic health records while enhancing their communication and organizational abilities.

The curriculum includes training in scheduling, billing, and patient record management, ensuring graduates can efficiently support healthcare professionals. With hands-on learning and industry-relevant technology, this program equips students to handle the specialized demands of the healthcare sector. Upon completion, graduates are ready for careers in medical administration, offering essential support in fast-paced healthcare environments.

Admission Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature applicant.
• Grade 12 English (C or U).
