Transport Training Centres of Canada (TTCC) offers a comprehensive DZ Standard Transmission Program designed to prepare students for a successful career as professional truck drivers. The program includes one week of in-class instruction followed by two weeks of hands-on training, providing students with the knowledge and real-world experience needed to operate DZ vehicles confidently. With training conducted on standard transmissions, flexible one-on-one or group instruction, included course materials, and one DZ road test, TTCC ensures students are fully supported throughout their licensing journey.

Students also benefit from TTCC’s Air Brake Advantage™ (Z Endorsement) training and E-log instruction, equipping them with the practical and regulatory knowledge required in today’s transportation industry. A Class DZ licence allows graduates to operate trucks exceeding 11,000 kilograms (24,000 lb) gross weight, as well as certain truck and trailer combinations within specified limits. Graduates are prepared with the skills, confidence, and credentials needed to pursue rewarding opportunities in the commercial driving field.

Dates subject to change.

It could be rough at times to get proper service. Eventually things went well, but at times I feel like myself and others had a feeling of just being lost in the shuffle.

My instructors in Cornwall we're amazing. Willing to go above and beyond to ensure that I had all the resources necessary to achive success. Mixed feelings about ones I encountered from other terminal. That being said, again, the ones in Cornwall never made me feel like a burden or that there was any chance that I wouldn't succeed. A special shout out to John. I was his first student and right from day 1, his work ethic was professional and concise. We learned together and not for a minute did it feel like a disadvantage to be paired with an instructor who hadn't already been there for years.

I took the DZ automatic training course at the ttcc london ontario location in november 2025. What a waste of my time and money! Very disorganized school, terrible driving instructor , I was set up to fail and I did. I got approximately 5 hours of in truck training over 2 days.... on the day of my drive test the school changed my test time without informing me and I missed my test by an hour. My test was rescheduled for 3 weeks later with no additional training or refreshers in between. Needless to say I was not familiar with the truck and failed the test. Don't waste your time or money on the scam school!
