Collège Boréal’s Veterinary Care Techniques program prepares students to become skilled professionals in the field of animal health, combining strong theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical training. The program equips learners with the competencies required to assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and diagnostic testing. Students gain a solid foundation in animal anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nutrition, parasitology, and veterinary laboratory techniques, while also learning the ethical, legal, and professional standards that guide modern veterinary practice.

Throughout the program, students participate in extensive laboratory work, clinical exercises, and practical training that simulate real veterinary environments. They develop skills in animal handling, anesthesia assistance, medical imaging, surgical preparation, and the diagnosis and prevention of common animal diseases affecting companion animals, livestock, and exotic species. The curriculum also emphasizes communication, teamwork, and veterinary practice management, preparing graduates to work collaboratively within veterinary teams and provide high-quality care for animals in clinics, research facilities, and other animal care environments.

Admission Requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), ACE certificate or provincial equivalent, or adult status or Certificate in Pre-Health Sciences.
  • A French credit: FIF4U, FRA4C, FRA4U or equivalent.

This driving program was a great place to learn truck driving professionally. If you are a beginner and know nothing about driving, its skills, and its rules you will learn it all in this program. Their well-experienced trainers are very supportive and patient in teaching and also they are supportive for slow learners or beginners. I will give 5 stars to their training and training methods.
