The University of Ottawa’s Master of Education online coursework option can be completed in as little as one year for full-time students or up to four years part-time. Learners can choose between six concentrations, Health Professions Education, Studies in Teaching and Learning, Second Language Education, Educational Leadership, Policy, and Evaluation, as well as two option delivered entirely in french; Éducation en milieux linguistiques minoritaires et inclusion and Enseignement en santé.
Students who opt for the Teaching and Learning concentration may choose to complete their degree on campus, but it is offered fully virtually as well. The Second Language Education, Studies in Teaching and Learning, and Educational Leadership, Policy, and Evaluation concentrations are offered in both English and French as well. Health Professionals Education is the sole English exclusive program.
