This program had a good balance of theory and practical work. We did programming, embedded systems, networking — a bit of everything without it being too shallow. Group projects were a lot, and some courses were tougher than others, but the small-class vibe made it easy to get help. If you like building things and want something more applied than straight CS, it’s a good fit.

UOttawa’s Computer Engineering Tech (Computing Science) was a solid mix of hands-on tech and real coding. You spend a lot of time building stuff — circuits, systems, apps — and the labs actually matter, not just slides in a classroom. The profs are mostly helpful, and being in Ottawa means there are decent internship and job chances around tech companies. It’s not always easy, but by the end you feel like you can walk into a tech job with real experience

Excellent university with a strong and inspiring music program. I completed my B.A. in Music here in 2008 and truly loved the experience. The faculty were not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about teaching. I felt genuinely supported and challenged to grow both as a musician and as a thinker.

The programme offered a solid balance of academic rigour and practical performance opportunities. Courses in theory, history, and ear training were well structured, and I appreciated the chance to work with talented peers in ensembles, choirs, and one-on-one lessons. The facilities were excellent, and the environment encouraged creativity, collaboration, and high standards.

I left with a strong foundation in music and a lasting appreciation for the depth and richness of musical study. Highly recommend for anyone serious about developing their skills in a supportive, high-quality academic setting.
