Class 1A (MELT)

R & J Training Services conducts Class 1A (MELT) training classes in Regina and in the surrounding area. A Class 1A driving license allows drivers to drive a motor vehicle, or towing vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of ten thousand lbs (forty-six hundred kilograms) and vehicles that are included in classes D and G.

This Class 1 MELT Program includes in-class and practical training includes forty-seven hours of in-class instruction, seventeen and a half hours of in-yard instruction, and fifty-seven hours of behind the wheel and in-cab training.
