Students in Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Veterinary Technology program include traditional in-person labs in basic (anatomy, genetics, chemistry) and clinical sciences (animal restraint, examination, diagnostic testing, nursing) and clinical rotations at local veterinary facilities. Students will be working with live animals, including dogs, cats, horses, cattle, swine, sheep, and rodents.

Learning occurs off-site at facilities located in and around Saskatoon, including at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.  Two, five-week offsite practicums are required in semester five.  Students select their locations in consultation with the program but must include both small animal and large animal practice, or mixed animal practice.

It was good experience to compare the course but after that I change my mind and decided to study business information system which is offered a coop and the draw back of supply chain management is that has no coop.
