Cambrian College’s Practical Nursing program prepares students for a rewarding career as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) through a balanced blend of theory and hands-on training. Approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), the program emphasizes patient-centered care, professionalism, and clinical competence. Students benefit from smaller class sizes and access to modern nursing labs, where they build confidence and develop the technical and interpersonal skills required to provide safe, effective care across diverse healthcare settings.
Through more than 700 hours of clinical experience, students work alongside healthcare professionals in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community organizations. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario and to write the CNO registration exam, opening doors to a meaningful and in-demand career helping others lead healthier lives.
