Brampton Flight Centre’s Private Pilot License (PPL) program provides comprehensive training in all key areas of flight, including aircraft handling, emergency procedures, radio communication, navigation, and basic instrument flying. The program combines both practical and theoretical instruction, requiring a minimum of 45 flight hours with a balance of dual and solo experience, including cross-country and instrument time. Students gain hands-on experience through dual instruction and supervised solo flying, building the skills and confidence needed to operate an aircraft safely and effectively.

In addition to flight training, students complete at least 45 hours of ground school, covering essential topics such as air law, meteorology, navigation, and general aeronautics to prepare for the Transport Canada written examination. The program also includes flight test preparation and licensing fees, while ensuring students meet all requirements, including obtaining a valid Category III medical, achieving minimum passing grades on exams, and successfully completing both a flight test and an English proficiency assessment.

Dates and cost subject to change.

Currently a student pilot, and soon to be fully licensed, I am loving every minute of it! The instructors and staff are amazing and personable. Always willing to assist and help where possible. I am glad I chose BFC as my flight school.
