Students will gain knowledge and skills in contemporary concepts, theories and business practices that are related to the functional areas of business: accounting, finance, human resources, marketing and operations. To ensure students are ready for the modern business environment, they learn the essential business skills of effective communication, customer service, teamwork, using technology, demonstrating positive attitudes and behaviors, being adaptable and responsible, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Courses in the Business Online program are offered asynchronously. Some courses may provide students an opportunity to meet synchronously online each week with their professor (optional attendance).
Completion of formal assessments in some courses may require proctoring. Proctoring methods vary based on course delivery mode and course objectives. Proctoring information and options will be shared in class.
Courses within the Business program may map to the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) competency framework. As a graduate of the Business program, graduates will be able to submit an application to the CPSA through the Student Program for a Professional Sales Certificate.
Additional ancillary fees for career services, health and counselling, athletics, student ID cards, and more may apply.

As a current student in Centennial College’s Early Childhood Education program, I’m loving the experience so far! The curriculum is really well-rounded, covering everything from child development to creating inclusive learning environments. The best part is the hands-on experience—we get to work with kids through placements, which is amazing for applying what we learn in class.
