The Massage Therapy program at Centennial College will provide students with both the fundamental and advanced massage therapy skills to become a successful massage therapist. This advanced diploma health program will emphasize professionalism and teach an evidence-based approach to assessment, treatment planning and implementation.

Recognized as a distinctive and rigorous offering within the School of Community and Health Studies, this college health program will balance a combination of theory and practical application through in-class lectures, lab experience, an onsite public clinic and off-site outreach placements.

Students learn the proper assessment tools and techniques to deal with a wide variety of conditions that involve lymph, muscle, nerve, fascia and joints of the body and a wellness focus that maintains physical health, function, and mobility.

  • Apply business principles relevant to a massage therapy practice.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively and professionally with clients, colleagues and members of the interprofessional team.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships to optimize clients’ health and wellness.
  • Collect and assess clients’ information to determine their state of health and the treatment goals.

As a current student in Centennial College’s Early Childhood Education program, I’m loving the experience so far! The curriculum is really well-rounded, covering everything from child development to creating inclusive learning environments. The best part is the hands-on experience—we get to work with kids through placements, which is amazing for applying what we learn in class.

I’m really glad I chose Centennial College’s Business Supply Chain program. The courses covered everything I needed to know—from logistics to global supply chain strategies. The professors were awesome and made the lessons super relatable, which helped me adjust to studying in Canada.

I loved how the program balanced theory with hands-on projects, and it gave me a solid foundation in the field. Plus, the diverse student community made it easy to connect with people from all over. Now, I feel ready to kick off my career in supply chain management. Definitely recommend this program if you want practical skills and a great learning experience in Canada!
